Recently redesigned to included a front roof hinged panel that opens and has a prop rod. 
When your terrarium needs a little water or need a little ventilation, simply prop open the roof section as shown.

This Wardian case terrarium comes in 2 pieces.
Base is metal with a dark gray powder coat finish, ball feet, and plastic liner.
Entire glass top lifts off and includes brass filagree trim and brass finials.  Glass is 3 mm thick and has lead-free solder to protect you and the environment.

Ships UPS ground to a physical address.
Professionally packaged.

Perfect little size for the office desk or a apartment.

    I love this Wardian case! It is just the right size for me since I'm a beginner and new at terrariums. The details and amazing craftsmanship are unbelievable, especially the hinged roof panel. I highly recommend this!

    The Wardian Case arrived very quickly and was carefully packaged. The terrarium is compact and well-crafted, and I think it would fit well in almost any spot in the home. As other commenters have mentioned, the pictures simply don't do this terrarium justice. The details, such as the hinged door on the roof and the decorative top edge are lovely. If I were looking for a terrarium in the future, I would definitely place another order with H. Potter. The customer service is excellent, and as a nice touch, included a handwritten thank-you note with our order.

    Pictures on line did not do justice to the Wardian Case that I ordered. It arrived perfectly packed and intact--and is beautiful. I wanted the Victorian gothic look, and got it. I will enjoy this for years to come!
